Shipping and Return Policy

Stereotype Audio offers cost effective and reliable International shipping, exclusively via Canada Post mail service.

Please understand that you as the customer are responsible for any and all taxes & duties that may be accrued on your product by your Country's customs clearance.

Shipping Charges

The cost of shipping is based on your order's total weight, box dimensions and shipment destination. To see the total cost of your order including shipping, please add the product(s) into your shopping cart and proceed to the checkout page. You will see the total cost including shipping and any applicable Canadian taxes.

Product Warranty

All of our products carry the manufacturer's warranty in Canada unless stated otherwise. To obtain warranty service, you will need to contact either the product manufacturer or the authorized Canadian distributor directly. We will gladly help facilitate any warranty returns with the manufacturer or Canadian distributor upon request.

Return Policy

Stereotype Audio provides a "21 day Satisfaction Guaranty Return Policy" from the date of shipment. All items must be in "as-new" condition with all its original packaging, accessories and product literature. In other words, please send products back EXACTLY as you received them. A bare minimum 15% restocking fee and $5 processing fee will be assessed for all returned items missing any accessories or materials. The customer is responsible for the shipping cost of sending the items back to our warehouse in Markham, Ontario Canada. We highly recommend that you ship returns using an insured and "signature required" delivery service since we can't be responsible for lost, stolen or damaged parcels. A refund will consist of the unit price only. Shipping costs will not be refunded. Customers must contact and notify us with the precise condition of the item prior to requesting a return. Any unauthorized returns may be refused or disregarded.

NOTE: Earphone sleeves/tips are NOT returnable if the blister pack is opened due to hygiene/health concerns.

Order Cancellation

Any order can be cancelled without penalty for a full refund if the order has not yet been shipped. An order that has been shipped cannot be cancelled or refunded. Please contact us ASAP at info@stereotype-audio.com with your order confirmation number if you would like to cancel your order. We usually ship orders within 1-2 business days.

Tracking and Insurance

A tracking number is provided for Canada Post Expedited Parcel, XpressPost and Priority Courier services only. Once the tracking number is "live", you may track your package online using the Canada Post web site during transit in Canada. Upon reaching the destination country, you will be able to further track the package using your local postal system. Insurance is automatically calculated and included for all orders. Please note, that $100 CAD is the maximum coverage available using Canada Post Small Packet Air. If the order is damaged or lost during transit, it is the customer's responsibility to use the tracking number provided by us and contact your local postal system for reimbursement. Stereotype Audio is not responsible for goods delivered to the wrong address or any other postal service errors.

Delivery Standards

You should receive your order in 3-5 business days within Canada and within 7-14 business days Internationally, upon dispatch. An email notification will be sent to you when your order is shipped, along with any available tracking number. We do our best to keep all items in stock, however in the event of a back order we will notify you within 1-2 business days.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT YOU AS THE CUSTOMER ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AND ALL TAXES & DUTIES THAT MAY BE ACCRUED ON YOUR PRODUCT.

Stereotype Audio is not responsible for determining the amount of these fees and they are in no way a part of our shipping costs. For more information regarding importing into your country, please consult your government's customs office.

Shipping to PO Boxes or APO addresses

We do ship to PO Boxes. However, we will not ship to APO/FPO/US Force addresses due to the inability to track orders and the high possibility of orders lost during transit.

Billing and Shipping Address

Shipping your order to a place other than your billing address is possible. We actually highly recommend shipping to your work or business address where someone is able to receive and sign for parcels. The cardholder's billing address however will always be required to process your credit card transaction. The "billing address" is the address on record with your bank, where you receive your monthly statements. If the cardholder's billing address does not match the bank's records, your order will be declined and voided.

We will not ship orders to delivery addresses that are not in the same country as the billing address unless the payment is made via wire transfer. Please contact us if you have any further questions or comments.

Stolen, Lost or Damaged Packages

Stereotype Audio cannot be held responsible for unexpected incidents that may occur once your order is placed and shipped. If your order is stolen, lost, or damaged during shipping, please use the tracking number provided and contact your local postal office for reimbursement. We will gladly provide any available shipment information for insurance claim purposes upon request.
